What course do you study?

BA (Hons) Business (Marketing) – Sandwich course

What Graduate+ awards have you completed, or what awards are you working towards (e.g. Bronze, Silver, Gold)?

I got 3 Bronzes, 1 Silver and 1 Gold. I achieved the Silver and Gold just 2 weeks ago.

What was something about Graduate+ you didn’t realise you could get recognition for (e.g. could be part-time work, learning a language - anything you were surprised by!)?

Doing the dissertation. When I found out the Graduate+ team recognize it as an activity for my award, it really surprised me.

What was an activity linked to the university experience that you managed to recognise/submit as part of your award? (Could be related to the Student Union, societies, or completing a certain set of work - if there is not one, don't worry, just leave this out)

An activity linked to my university experience was volunteering as a BOOST mentor. I absolutely love the role as I supported students who come from BAME backgrounds. I submitted this activity for my Graduate+ Silver Award.

What has been your favourite activity you’ve participated in that you’ve added to your award? (A little detail about the experience would be great)

My most favourite activity was to participate in many events with Graduate+. I attend 30+ activities so far and always want to join in more.

It was well-organised and very useful content. So I definitely recommend it to other university students.

What Graduate+ week event have you enjoyed the most?

It is hard to answer this question because I have attended many of them, but I think the event that stands out the most to me will be the Blackbullion because I still attended their webinars until now. I like their business idea and the way they support students.

Besides this, I like the Problem Solving section which was delivered by a member of the CAS team. The way they used maths and asked us questions are smart. I actually learnt a lot from that session.

What are you hoping to do after your degree?

Currently, looking for an opportunity to work in the Business and Marketing sector. In the future, my dream is to become a Business and Marketing consultant to support businesses.
