Although it’s now the summer, that certainly doesn’t mean the Graduate+ team are away, we’re still busy working remotely to provide you with useful activities and sessions over the upcoming summer months before the next semester begins this September.
Since the end of March we’ve been offering online tutorials via Microsoft Teams from 10am-4pm each weekday at a time that suits you. The purpose of these tutorials is to give you the chance to go over your award level with a member of the team, along with us being able to provide you with different advice & show off the resources you have access to.
You can book yours via the website here - https://graduateplus.bcu.ac.uk/static/5331/book-a-tutorial
Bronze Award Workshops
You may remember that when we were on campus we hosted regular ‘Get your Award’ workshops, a chance to come and work on your award and speak to a member of the Grad+ team.
We’re thrilled to announce that we are bringing these back virtually over the summer for you!
We have 3 sessions taking place over the next few months, check out the following links to book your space via Eventbrite:
STAR Technique Workshops
Along with our bronze award workshops we also have some virtual workshops taking place this summer to help you use the STAR Technique. This is a popular interview technique that the majority of employers now expect you to use when speaking about the experiences you’ve had, it ensures you get the very most out of your response by using the situation, task, action & result method.
If you would like to know how you can utilise this, we have 2 upcoming workshops, book your place via Eventbrite.
See you there!
As you can now see, we are anything but closed! We’ve got a great selection of activities and workshops for you to attend if you have free time over the summer months, and don’t forget to take part in our summer checklist campaign too.
