Graduate+ is an extra-curricular awards framework which complements your degree. It is designed to capture and provide evidence to help you grow as a future graduate whilst preparing you for your individual career aspirations. The award is made up of different levels which reflect the range of activities that you have been involved with. These activities are designed to demonstrate your understanding of the BCU Graduate Attributes.
One of the 4 attributes is enterprising. Enterprising is defined as ' having or showing initiative and resourcefulness'
Enterprising is a way of communicating and networking with new people. This section will hopefully break down the skills and attitudes required to build positive relationships through enterprising.

Arguably the most important aspect of enterprising, is networking. Networking is the process of trying to meet new people who might be useful to you in your job, often through social activities.
If executives fail to exploit the opportunities of networking they risk being left behind. One of the best ways to network is through social media such as twitter and LinkedIn. Also, if you create a LinkedIn to network, it counts for your bronze award. Another way to network would be to attend small social events, graduate+ offers a lot of these activities.
A positive attitude is a mental outlook of optimism and of expecting good things to happen. ... A positive attitude can affect your life favourably in all areas. People with a positive outlook, view life, challenges, and the situations they go through, with confidence and are sure they can deal with them. A positive attitude is also said to attract positivity in other aspects of the individual’s life whether it be personal or work related.
Initiative is an individual's action that begins a process, often done without direct managerial influence. For example, an employee might take the initiative to come up with a new product or service that the company could offer. This is a direct display of independence and is therefore highly favoured by employers.

What is leadership? A simple definition is that leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving an established common goal. In a business setting, this can mean directing workers and colleagues with a strategy to meet the company's needs.

As nouns the difference between motivation and perseverance is that motivation is willingness of action especially in the behaviour while perseverance is continuing in a course of action without regard to discouragement, discontent, opposition or previous failure.

Adaptability and Flexibility. The world of work is changing at an ever-increasing pace so employers actively seek out graduates who can adapt to these changing circumstances and environments, who can embark up on and embrace new ideas, who are enterprising, resourceful and adaptable.
You should come up with answers to these questions in your own time and make sure you’re prepared. If you can master each of these aspects then you have mastered enterprising!
