Hi and welcome back to Graduate+ the blog!

Every week, I provide you with a timetable packed full of free events for you to attend in your spare time here in Birmingham, the purpose being to help you de-stress and reset!

As exams and assessments come to an end, I have provided you with a variety of musical performances, summer events and loads of other fun things for you and the family to get involved in as the summer commences.


Summer fun

This is a free, drop-in craft activity, no need to book! Come along for 10 days worth of fun with different activities to do each day for you and your family to enjoy.

Free summer music club

Join our Assistant Head of Music Ashley and Outreach Leader for a fun, free morning of music activities.

Sing songs, play music games, make new friends, free refreshments and lots more!

These sessions are aimed at families of primary school aged children. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Stirchley community market

Come and join us at Stirchley community market on the first Tuesday of the month from March - December at Stirchley Baths.

We have local traders, hot and cold food, crafts and charity stalls. Shop and Socialise! The market is self-funded and entirely run by the community for the community.

Fat penguin; improvised comedy night.

Each week, some of the best improvisers in Birmingham take to the stage to deliver their very own style of high energy comedy without a script.

The performers will take suggestions from the audience and then tell a real life story based off the suggestion. The other performers will then create a series of comedy scene from the story.

Special delivery

Special delivery is a simple story about the delights of trying something unexpected.

A heavily laden postman is suddenly surprised by a rain shower, he discovers that all of his packages have lost their labels. In the process of trying to put the labels to packages, he discovers more about the lives of the expectant recipients and decides to bring more sunshine into their lives. This show appeals to both Adults and Children.

Wythall carnival

Come along to the Wythall carnival organised and run by volunteers for the local community. There will be loads for you and the family to do on the day including: Dog show, classic car display, BMX stunt team, Food stalls, fun fair, gymnastics display and much more!
